About this Web Site
This web site (Autism Hong Kong) aims at
enhancing understanding and exploration on Autism among the Chinese in Hong
Kong by means of providing information in traditional Chinese characters (Big
5). If you have any comments or suggestion, please email to us at info@autism.hk .
If you are non Chinese who are living in Hong
Kong and are looking for autism for non Chinese speaking community, you may
contact the Hong Kong Council of Social Service ( www.hkcss.org.hk ), Rehabilitation Division
for assistance. Also, you may try to contact local English
speaking parents groups: Autism Children Foundation (www.autismchild.org.hk ), Rainbow Project (www.rainbowproject.org ), Autism Recovery
Network (www.autismrecovery.hk) or the www.autism.org
to look for appropriate web sites (see below).
If you are Chinese who are not living in Hong
Kong, in the mean time we are unable to offer too much information in Chinese
of other places. You are advised to form your own support
group in your local community for Chinese. It would be the best way to
share and provide information by your own.
This web page was first constructed on the 1st
May of 2000 (www.autism-hongkong.com)
and was re-constructed in 2006 with this updated version (www.autism.hk) .
Copyright of this web page belongs to Autism ¡V Hong Kong & Mr. YU Sau Ying
© 2000-2015. The webmaster & designer of this web
page is Mr. YU Sau-ying, Francis. Due to limited resources, we can offer main
text in Chinese and with a few special terms in English. If you need materials
in other language, you may try to surf in the autism related web pages column
or other foreign web sites like www.autism.org
.
Starting from January 4th 2006, a
new web site (Autism China www.autism.org.cn
) was constructed and providing information to mainland China population.
It is because there are an increasing demand of service and knowledge by
parents of people with autistic features, their family members, staff and
supporters. I hope the new web site
(Autism China www.autism.org.cn ) might
be working independently when appropriate partners could be located in mainland
China PRC. However, it is not an easy job to find an
organization or individual to take up the management of this website.
